Testimonials

When
I broke my hip in a bicycle accident and had to have a replacement
at age 54, I was devastated. I thought my active days were over.
When I showed up in my wheelchair at PTRC, Kirk and all the
assistants made me feel tremendously welcome and hopeful about my
recovery. All the staff at PTRC from the front desk to the
therapists are knowledgeable and skilled in both the physical and
the psychological aspects of recovery. It was always a boost to my
spirits to go to my therapy sessions. It was hard work, but the
staff never let me get discouraged. From the beginning, I made
steady progress. Now I can walk for miles on my own and I've even
gotten on horseback! Thanks to everyone at PTRC!

“Now
I know what A-Z means. When I first came here I was at A and now
I am at about Z with the help of Kirk and his staff and I am 80%
recovered from surgery. If you are only allowed a short time to
heal, this is the place to come to get back to your job on time
fully recovered. I can not praise and thank Kirk and his staff
enough.” Doris V. Sims

PTRC
is a family. When I go there for rehab, the staff works together
for my complete recovery. They are quick to answer questions,
follow closely my progress and are attentive to my treatments.
Being part of this friendly, professional family, gives me
confidence that I am receiving the absolute best care in the
area. Thanks to the PTRC FAMILY!

I
was shortly off my second ACL reconstruction in my right knee,
and began rehab in San Marcos at PTRC. Vikki and her aides worked
with me from the beginning and the whole experience was
challenging and fun. The environment was very easy going and
there are many helpful people to make sure that all patients are
being attended to. I am now able to play sports again which i
haven't been able to do since injuring my knee for the second
time 5 years ago. I enjoyed my rehab so much, that I am now
interning at PTRC. It is great to see patients make progress and
for them to know they are getting better. PTRC is a fun
friendly, and rewarding place to be, both from a patients and an
intern's perspective. When I am a physical therapist I can only
hope to work in a clinic like this. Josh

I
am very grateful to PTRC for helping me gain back some of the
strength and mobility I lost in my accident. The treatment I
have received in the past months has helped immensely, and for
that I thank your wonderful staff. They were focused on my needs
and I had a clear understanding of what my goals were and how to
achieve them. Jeff Leroy
"As
soon as you walk in to PTRC the office staff, physical
therapists, and college interns greet you with a warm smile and
confident attitude. Someone is always there to make sure you are
moving along with your exercises as comfortably as possible.
They are excellent at communication updates with all the
patients as well as getting appropriate documentation sent to
your doctor in a timely manner. I have had seperate physical
therapy treatments with PTRC over the past 8 years for my wrist,
shoulder, knee, and back, and have made excellent progress with
each. I won't go anywhere else!" Karen Little
- "PTRC has been a major contributor in the success I have had in my athletic career. The support, kindness and friendship they have given me deserves a gold medal" Charles Austin, 1996 Olympic Champion
- "No pain, no gain is NOT their philosophy. My experience as a patient with PTRC has been rewarding from both a physical and mental standpoint." Sue Ann Harrison, MD
- "I would not go anywhere else for physical therapy. PTRC is hands down the best PT place in town. The therapists are patient yet they make sure you get the job done. The office people are great and so are the aides. I recommend this place all the time." Kevin Brown, Sales Manager Red Simon Ford
- "Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location and office hours were very convenient considering my busy schedule. They really helped me return to function and decrease my pain." Ola Caverly, MD
- "I've been treated at PTRC for a variety of different injuries. I've been with them since the beginning when they were located on Thorpe Lane. I've just about gone through all their therapists. Every one of my experiences with this group has been great. They are professional, excellent therapists and are a lot of fun to be around." Bill Pennington, Owner of Pennington Funeral Homes
- "When I began physical therapy at PTRC I was in a great deal of back pain. Vikki started my therapy in the heated pool. Although I am usually not comfortable in water, I quickly realized that water therapy allowed me to be more flexible and have greater mobility than I had outside the pool. Over the course of my eight weeks at PTRC, my pain was eliminated, my flexibility returned almost to normal, and I now walk without my cane. When I left PTRC, Vikki very generously wrote out a set of exercises that I can do at home. I look forward to the continued benefits of this exercise routine in the weeks to come." Martha Trauth
